Short Sales Are SLOWWW Sales

If you're in the market and shopping for a home now is a great time to purchase a home at below market value. According to this MarketWatch article, banks may accept up to 10% below market value on a home. But if you also want the home buyers tax credit, the short sale process may not work for you. Here are five caveats to consider before shopping for a short sale. But don't get too concerned because there are properties available in our Hawaii market that are just as good deals and not short sales. Just be willing to consider all available properties.
